Muhuhu

(Brachyleana hutchensii)

Usually straight grained with a very fine, even texture. Dark yellowish brown heartwood (sometimes with darker streaks) and narrow grayish sapwood. Exudes a pleasant odor when machined. Grows in east Africa. Also known as muhugu, mubuubu, watho, mvumvo, mshenzi.
